About Us – UPSCALE
Led by Tamar Schneider and Gal Ben-Ari. Tamar Schneider, Interior Designer and Architect. M.A. from Bezalel.
With 20 years of experience as a commercial designer and visual branding expert. Gal Ben-Ari, Architect and Interior Designer. B.A. in Design from Shenkar. 10 years of experience in designing work environments and green building consultancy. We understand that human capital is the organization’s greatest asset and are committed to creating work environments that enhance well-being and productivity. With the right planning and design, we can encourage creativity, effective communication among employees, tranquility, or suitable business hosting – all tailored to the nature of the departments we design for. Color palette planning in a project is essentially about designing the relationships between people and space. Design and color can boost energy and enhance creativity, joy, and productivity. I was among the first to design shared workspaces when the transition from hierarchical work methods to collaborative styles was just beginning. I’m someone who excels in both realms. As a project manager, I focus and drive people. I have an engineering perspective and a vision to contribute to building the nation. On the other end, I possess a well-developed ability to transcend – a deep connection to home, family, the land, and Jewish spirituality. My sensitivity drives me to constantly read market needs, observe upcoming changes, understand the evolving work culture both locally and globally, and seek the next opportunity for renewal. I don’t just eat organic, because I don’t do things “just.” But if you visit our UPSCALE garden, you can find seasonal herbs, potatoes, pumpkins, corn, eggplants, watermelons, lemons, avocados, and personally grown herbs. My strength lies in creating order in planning processes and establishing control mechanisms. I know how to foresee advanced project stages and guide the process to reach them.
My essence is green. In the projects we design, it’s important to avoid resource wastage and maintain the quality of building materials and clean air flow. An office shouldn’t be a place you leave to breathe and recharge. On the contrary. I often find myself being the youngest professional on the team. I have led initiatives with people older than my parents. Successful collaboration is born from a heterogeneous team with professionals at different stages of their careers. There’s nothing like multiple pairs of eyes. I was the first in Israel to integrate air purification systems used in operating rooms into a business space! This created a safe, sanitized office that protects against bacteria and viruses. This concept generated renewed interest from tenants for properties we designed and planned. Our focus is simple: creating thriving work environments. Workspaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and inspiring. At UPSCALE, we learn about your work culture and tailor a design that serves your vision, needs, and goals.
In designing a work environment, there are endless opportunities to create change. With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, we transform ordinary spaces into exceptional environments that reflect the essence of your organization or company. It’s not always easy to envision your future workspace, so we are here to guide and support the process at every stage.
