MEA has designed a multitude of hospitals and buildings for cutting-edge institution and companies in Israel, USA, China, the Czech Republic and India.
High-tech: a 200,000-sq.m. Biotech park in Hefei, China; MATAM Park, Haifa; TEVA and Elbit Systems campuses; microelectronic chips production fabs; HP ink factories; as well as Rafa and Taro pharmaceutical plants. Academic and research labs: clients include the Weizmann Institute, the Technion, Ben Gurion University, Hebrew University and Bar Ilan University. Hospitals: Carmel hospital, Haifa; Ha’emek hospital, Afula; Rambam hospitals, Haifa; large hospital compounds in the Caucasus Region and China; and hospital in Moscow.
Public Buildings & Complexes /Industrial Buildings & Low-tech
Among MEA’s most notable projects is the 100,000-sq.m. Ben Gurion Airport Landside Terminal (done in collaboration with SOM and Moshe Safdie) and its 40,000-sq.m. extension. Projects include Reshafim metals factory, Ashkelon; Negev Ceramics factory, Yeruham; Hadera Paper facility, Modiin; projects for Rhines and Gav Yam corporations; and various logistical centers.
