Oleg Pugachev

Born in Russia, Oleg Pugachev has called Berlin his home for more than half of his life. Here he graduated from the Weissensee School of Art and Design in 2013. While working for internationally active design and architecture offices, he has been pursuing his own projects with a focus on furniture ever since. Balancing of means and ends in terms of functionality, technology and aesthetics, a quest for (never banal) simplicity and coherence reflecting the complexity of the design process, following (and questioning) one’s intuition, a passion for the history of design, art and architecture are the guiding principles of his approach.
